RASPBERRY - RUBUS IDAEUS
Leaves: Birth and pregnancy. Stengthens the muscles of the uterus. Used for diarrhoea, discharge, and heavy menstrual flow. Externally as an eye cleanser. Berries: Female hormonal disturbances, morning sickness, sweats, and cramps.
RED CLOVER - TRIFOLIUM PRATENSE
Blood purifying, expectorant, and anti-inflammatory herb. Reduces appetite, counteracts asthmatic eczema, coughing, bronchitis, and chronic skin diseases (eczema and psoriasis). It is used for menopausal problems, hot flushes, and mucosal dryness.
Polyphenol and antioxidant which is produced in some plants as protection against various dangers, including fungal attack. It has anti-inflammatory properties, and can be used to prevent cardiovascular disease and as a cancer preventative.
ROSE HIP - ROSA CANINA
Is used for many inflammatory conditions, e.g. rheumatism and bladder problems, kidney stones and -gravel, inflammations of the kidney and renal pelvis. A diuretic, but also effective against stress, light diarrhoea, and metabolic diseases.
ROWAN TREE - SORBUS AUCUPARIA
The berry are used without seeds as these are poisonous. Rowanberry has a contracting effect and are traditionally used for diarrhoea, hoarseness, kidney stone, rheumatic pain, and haemorrhoids.
ROYAL JELLY - GELÉE ROYALE - HONEY
The queen bee's only nutrition. A whitish, protein-rich, viscous secretion. It is used to balance the hormonal system and the immune system. Gives you energy and is effective against menstrual- and menopausal problems.
