  • IMMUNITY, IMPAIRED

    Reduction of the natural ability of the immune system to attack alien cells; intruding microorganisms, toxins, and cancer cells. Causes increased susceptibility to infection and serious illness. It is therefore important to strengthen the immune system.
  • IMPETIGO

    Impetigo is a bacterial infection with skin lesions on the face, lower arms, and hands. Inflammation causes the wounds to become suppurating and itchy. The wounds develop yellow crusts when drying up. Impetigo is very contagious.
  • IMPOTENCE - ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION

    Often defined as inability to consummate sexual intercourse in a satisfactory manner because of a weakened or completely lacking erection, but can also include other things, for example lacking desire or problems with ejaculation.
  • INDIGESTION

    Generic term for symptoms originating in the alimentary tract, often caused by incomplete digestion of foodstuffs. May be caused by an unhealthy diet, eating too fast, and binge eating. It can, however, also be the result of poisoning or heredity.

  • INFECTION OF THE URINAL TRACT

    Inflammation of the urinary bladder with frequent and painfull urination (strangury), muddy and foul smelling urine, and pains in the pelvic region.
  • INFLAMMATION IN GENERAL

    A localized physical condition characterized by warmth, swelling, reddening, and usually also pain. The inflammation can be cause by an infection with microorganisms or a strain caused by sustained one-sided labour.
  • INFLAMMATION OF THE EYES

    Inflammation of the eyes - catarrh - can be an allergic reaction or the result of external factors. The condition is annoying, but relatively easy to treat. If often lasts 7 days, but the infection may also attack the cornea with serious consequences.
  • INFLAMMATION OF THE LIVER

    Inflammation of the liver. Symptoms are: nausea, loathing of food, vomiting, headache, pain below the right rib, and pronounced fatigue. Can be caused by either a viral infection with the hepatitis virus or by intoxication and poisoning.
  • INFLAMMATION OF THE THROAT

    Inflammation in and around the tonsils at the entrance to the throat. Often caused by bacterial infection, but can also be caused by vira. The disease is rarely serious, and is usually easy to treat.
  • INSOMNIA

    Trouble falling asleep. Trouble sleeping through the night with hours of being awake during the night or waking up early in the morning and not being able to go back to sleep. Bad quality of sleep and tiredness during the day. Snoring and sleep apnoea.
  • INTESTINAL FLATULENCE

    Intestinal gas is normal. Large quantities of air are swallowed when we eat and drink. Normally it has no odeur. Large amounts and unpleasant odeurs are usually caused by replacement of the healthy flora of the intestines with putrefactive bacteria.
  • IRRITABLE BOWEL SYNDROME

    Irritation of the mucosa of the colon causing symptoms such as stomach-ache, bloating, diarrhoea or indigestion, flatulence, and psychological problems. The reasons can be poor nutrition, lack of fibres in the diet, food intolerance, and infection.
